For week 3 of Visual Communications class, I had to pick one from a few events that my instructor gave me. I chose Centennial Tea Service and originally decided to do a high fashion look to the poster, but the idea changed after I drew a few options and the more classy the picture looked the more I liked it. My design sparks came mostly from high fashion and 70’s hair and clothing, I took the hair and the clothing ideas and made it look more elegant than it would have looked if it was in a high fashion style.
This is a picture of Michael B. Jordan that I drew. I executed the drawing in colored pastels and white and black charcoal. I did this picture because I like to draw people (especially portraits). I am proud of this drawing because when I did it, I posted it on Instagram and tagged him in it. I have drawn many celebrities and tagged them in the pictures I drew but he was the first to ever comment and like this picture along with a few of my other drawings.
